"I have used the KARIBU Team for a number of years as an umbrella supporting major behavioural and cultural change programmes across multiple organisations and countries.
Roma and her team have the adaptability to work in partnership rather than applying a textbook solution to change opportunities. At St George we have a large team with national coverage. KARIBU’s work has been a key part of an ongoing programme that has already achieved significant and sustainable improvements in productivity and behavioural drivers - leadership competencies, turnover, absenteeism and job satisfaction - all measureable. My confidence is such that KARIBU will continue working with us to deliver the next wave of change".
Ross Anderson, Head of Customer Services - Origination

"It takes a certain style of individual to be able to continuously lead senior people in a certain direction and Roma & her associates have clearly got that skill..."
Ian Mattiske, General Manager - Global Project & Structured Finance,

"A good recipe book does not make a good chef - but it certainly can help! Ultimately it is up to the individual to interpret and adapt the recipe book to cook up a great dish.
The Stepping Up Leadership Development Program is like a good recipe book. It gives the mental tools, theoretical models and frameworks to analyse our individual leadership styles in the company of peers and colleagues.
Recently I read some where that the Chinese letter for crisis is made up of two concepts - danger and opportunity. We can instinctively sense a crisis, see the danger BUT need some training to also see the opportunity.
Stepping Up provides some of that training.
On a personal note, it helped me get the right perspective and, therefore, approach to balance three important aspects of my life - job, family and myself."
Jay Gurjar, Senior Architect, Architecture Practice
"Stepping Up is the best leadership training program I have ever attended in my 26 year career with IBM!"
Judy D. Cole, former Director, Senior Project Executive, Qantas Account,

"On a number of occasions, Roma Gaster and her colleagues have worked with us at Vodafone to help us implement a customer-focused culture throughout the organisation.
Most of the time we have asked the impossible! We have wanted our offsites organised with a minimal briefing and short time-scales - subject to constantly changing our minds about location, subject matter and attendee numbers. On every occasion KARIBU has managed to organise an outstanding conference.
I have seen many facilitators in action and admire Roma's capacity to work with any type audience and to change tack in order to meet their needs."
Andrew Bissex, formerly Managing Director,
Vodafone Australia
"She is a master facilitator..."
Suzi Dafnis , National General Manager,

"Roma seems to attract the highest accolades and the highest ratings whenever we survey the program."
Peter Johnston, Director,

The Stepping Up program was an opportunity to remember and share my leadership experiences to date & show others that "this stuff works" and that you can learn and improve leadership styles.
As my 3rd leadership "intervention" over the last decade, the program was a positive and powerful reinforcement of the leadership journey I am on and reminded me of the important leadership role I have. I found the one-on-one debrief and coaching sessions invaluable and appreciated the gentle way in which the feedback was provided. The boost I received reminded me that all the little things that I do as a leader create a ripple effect in my team & more broadly across the company. The toolsets of the Personal Leadership Development Plan and "Boom" framework are reminders for me to live up to my personal commitment.
From a team perspective, the two biggest impacts have been that it has given us a common language around leadership and the way we want to work with each other and it gave me an opportunity to have a "real" conversation with my direct reports that otherwise never occurred in the workplace. My team has grown in confidence and have delivered business outcomes they did not think were possible when we started as a team just over twelve months ago.
The Stepping Up Program is the best leadership program, locally or internationally, that I have experienced because it requires personal accountability of our leadership roles. The support network created through the "buddy" system has also been most useful.”
Suzanne Young Head of Finance, QBS and CFO & S
Qantas Airways Limited
"Typically with the normal consultant there is nervousness and sometimes resentment from people within the organisation. Sometimes they will ask "Why can't we do it ourselves?". So there has to be a trust established between the consultant, in whatever role, and the organisation. Roma and her team do that very well - by being part of the organisation, operating at all levels, not just at the senior level. They manage to not be seen as people who source information and feed it back only to the 'management' - who ever they may be - and that is vitally important.
... KARIBU says it like it is. They tell you what they believe. I don't want to hear people telling me what they think I want to hear. I want to hear the truth. In my experience this is what Roma and the KARIBU team delivers ... In the things that KARIBU did for us they have succeeded. I haven't come across anybody better."
